At Parkside Paws, we understand the anxiety associated with leaving your pet overnight, and we strive to provide peace of mind by prioritizing your companion’s safety, comfort, and well-being while in our facility. Our dedicated team ensures that each dog enjoys cozy accommodations, complete with a spacious 20-ft outdoor run for exercise and toileting. We provide close monitoring by experienced staff who are available around the clock. Daily playtime, personalized attention, and meals tailored to your instructions are all part of the exceptional care we offer. To further enhance their stay, we also provide optional enrichment activities that keep your pet engaged and happy. With Parkside Paws, your dog will feel truly cherished and cared for, ensuring their time with us is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Boarding Prerequisites

  • A free 10-minute assessment of your dog’s temperament/play style is required upon first visit to ensure safe handling by our staff.
  • All dogs are required to be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines. Please bring a copy of your pet’s immunization records.
  • Puppies must be 4 months old at minimum. Age-appropriate vaccinations are required for puppies under 6 months of age.
  • Canine influenza vaccines are recommended but not mandatory. Please refer to your veterinarian for further guidance.
  • All pets must be parasite-free and receiving routine heartworm medication and flea/tick preventatives.
  • Intact males over the age of 6 months are allowed on a case-by-case basis pending behavioral assessment.
  • Intact females are not allowed after 9 months of age OR after their first heat cycle, whichever comes first. The owner is responsible for determining if/when the dog is in heat. We cannot accept females in heat at the facility at ANY time.
  • Pets must be in good health. We cannot accept pets showing signs of illness or infections.
  • Pets should have a positive behavioral history and be well-socialized to ensure they interact well with others.
  • Inform us of any special needs or dietary restrictions your pet may have so we can accommodate them properly.
  • Provide up-to-date emergency contact information in case we need to reach you during the boarding period.
