At Parkside Paws, count on us to watch your pet for the day while you work, run errands, attend appointments/events, handle home repairs, etc.! Just like overnight boarding, your dog has access to their own kennel equipped with a 20-ft outdoor run for fresh air, exercise, and toileting. Cats enjoy spacious condos with access to climbing spaces. You can also select fun add-on activities to enrich their experience! Our experienced staff members provide fresh water, meals, and any necessary medications while in our care. We conduct a complimentary 10-minute assessment of your pet’s temperament/play style to ensure a smooth experience.
Day Boarding Prerequisites
- A free 10-minute assessment of your dog’s temperament/play style is required upon first visit to ensure safe handling by our staff.
- All cats are required to be up-to-date on FVRCP and rabies vaccines.
- Pets must be free of parasites and on routine heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives.
- Pets must be at least 4 months old. Puppies and kittens under 6 months must have age-appropriate vaccinations.
- Pets must be in good health. We cannot accept pets showing signs of illness or infections.
- Pets should have a positive behavioral history and be well-socialized to ensure they interact well with others.
- Inform us of any special needs or dietary restrictions your pet may have so we can accommodate them properly.
- Provide up-to-date emergency contact information in case we need to reach you during the boarding period.
